No prior experience is necessary. The program is designed for complete beginners, covering safety, canine behavior, and basic coat care before moving on to tool management and advanced styling.

Yes. Jazzy Pawz is a U.S. Department of Labor-registered apprenticeship and is listed on Georgia's Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL). Eligible applicants can access workforce development funding through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and state grants.

Online courses cannot teach physical tool handling, coat tension, or live animal safety. Our program provides direct, 1-on-1 mentorship inside an active Atlanta studio environment, giving you hands-on practice with real dogs under instructor supervision from week one.

The full DOL-registered apprenticeship spans approximately 80 weeks. The curriculum requires 288 hours of structured classroom instruction alongside 3,750 hours of hands-on, on-the-job training to earn your nationally recognized certification.

All practical training takes place at our primary facility in Atlanta, GA. We offer structured daytime schedules designed to provide full immersion during peak salon operating hours when live-dog handling experience is highest.
